I work in the field of Museums and Public Art as Project Manager, Curator and Educator, with experience in Europe, the United States and the Middle East.

After graduating in Fine Arts at the University of Murcia (Spain) in 2009, I studied a Master’s Degree in Artistic Production at the Polytechnic University of Valencia (Spain) in 2010, with a specialty in Public Art. My Master’s Thesis allowed me to discover artists who combine art and solar energy. As a result from this research, the online archive Solar Artworks was created.

Between 2012 and 2013, I participated and organized numerous educational events in the UAE, Europe and the United States, including the first solar art festival in the US in 2013.

In 2013 I joined Qatar Solar Technologies to coordinate its design department. We developed a unique portfolio of solar design artworks and launched an educational initiative that became an awarded project in the GCC Region, with students of all ages working on STEAM projects.

In August 2016 I started a Secondment with Qatar Museums as a Design Liaison to assist with the implementation of public art works and playgrounds in the park area at the National Museum of Qatar.

Between 2017 and 2019, I studied a Master in Museum and Gallery Practice at University College London (UCL). As part of the academic program, I completed a one month Placement at Urban Art Projects (UAP) in Brisbane (Australia) and submitted a Dissertation about the impact of public art in transit spaces. I am still collaborating with UCL as a Research Assistant for a project titled Museums and Big Data.

In May 2018 I joined Qatar Museums as Project Coordinator at the Public Art Department. During my first year I coordinated the development and implementation of several public art projects at the National Museum of Qatar. Currently I am coordinating the execution of a Public Art Master Plan for the FIFA World Cup, to be implemented before 2022.

Looking at the future, my main objective is to keep the passion for my work and to be proud of what I do. I am always willing to accept new challenges and to learn new skills that add something meaningful to my life.
